Manchester United’s new signing, Fernandes, ready to play against Wolves, says Solskjaer

Bruno Fernandes is ready to make his Manchester United debut against Wolves, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed, writes standard.co.uk.
The £46.5m midfielder could be thrown straight into the action after Nemanja Matic was ruled out through suspension.
Matic was sent off during United’s 1-0 Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Manchester City, which saw them lose 3-2 on aggregate.
Fernandes is due to complete the formalities of his move from Sporting Lisbon on Thursday, and Solskjaer has no concerns about handing him his debut on Saturday.
“Let’s get the contract signed and medical done,” said the United manager. “But the boy is fit and ready to play, I would presume. Let’s see if we get it done tomorrow.”
Solskjaer couldn’t hide his anger at Matic’s red, which took the sting out of United’s hopes of overturning City’s first leg aggregate.
The Serbia international was sent off for a second bookable offence after scoring the only goal of the game.
Solskjaer described the decision as a joke, adding: “The first one’s not a yellow card, he’s unlucky. I disagree with that decision.
“It’s ironic – the first time he makes a foul he gets a yellow card and other times we broke on them, but that’s the ref’s decision because he was man of the match for me today.
“We had a chance towards the end. Of course, it made it more difficult. I don’t want to talk about ref too much. I want to talk about players and attitude they’re showing.
“To come here twice in six weeks and have beaten City twice. We gave absolutely everything even though today we were poor at times with the ball, but sometimes they broke our play up, fouled us a few times. But we spent too many seconds on the ball.”
