Borussia Dortmund eyeing shock move for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka

Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on Arsenal wonderkid Bukayo Saka, who is yet to sign a new Gunners contract, according to reports.
The 18-year-old has been in scintillating form for Mikel Arteta’s side this season, providing two goals and eight assists in all competitions from left-back. But with his current deal at the Emirates Stadium due to expire in the summer of 2021, and negotiations over an extension stalling, rival clubs have been put on high alert.
According to the Daily Mirror, Bundesliga giants Dortmund have now emerged as an interested party, joining Manchester United and Liverpool in monitoring the promising winger’s contract situation.
When asked about where his future lies in February, Saka remained coy in his response, he said: ‘I just leave all that stuff to my agent and my parents. I just enjoy my football and play my football.
‘Do I want to stay? Like I said it’s for my agent. They’re sorting it out.
‘Of course, I’m enjoying my football, enjoying playing under the new coach so we’ll see what happens.’
The Gunners wonderkid is still on the £3000-a-week contract he signed when he turned professional in September 2018.
Although naturally a winger, Saka has deputised expertly in defence for injured first-choice left-backs Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac.
Spanish boss Mikel Arteta had reportedly made extending the teenager’s contract a top priority, but the England youth international is yet to commit his long-term future to the club.
