Osimhen to earn £250,000 weekly at Galatasaray outside other bonuses

Galatasaray have revealed the full costs involving their deal to sign Victor Osimhen after Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all passed up the chance to sign the striker from Napoli.
Osimhen spent last season on loan at Galatasaray where he scored 36 goals in 40 appearances to help the Turkish club win the league and cup double.
The Nigeria international appeared to put himself back in the shop window for a potential move to the Premier League with Arsenal, United and Chelsea all in the market to sign a striker this summer.
Osimhen came close to joining Chelsea in the final stages of the transfer window last summer and John Obi Mikel, who was helping broker the deal, claimed that the striker remained keen on a move to Stamford Bridge this year.
But after weeks of negotiations, Galatasaray have been able to reach an agreement with Napoli over a permanent deal for the 26-year-old.
Galatasaray have confirmed that a €75 million (£64.8m) fee has been agreed with Napoli, which is a new Turkish transfer record, while a 10 per cent sell-on clause has also been included.
Galatasaray have also taken the unusual step of revealing Osimhen’s salary, with the striker guaranteed to earn €15m (£12.9m) per season, or £250,000 a week, on a four-year contract, plus a loyalty bonus of €1m (£860,000) and an image rights fee of €5m (£4.3m)
A statement from Galatasaray read: ‘An agreement has been reached with SSCN Napoli SPA for the transfer of professional footballer Victor James Osimhen.
‘This includes a net transfer fee of €75,000,000 to his former club. Furthermore, 10 per cent of the profit from the player’s subsequent sale will be paid to SSCN Napoli SPA.
‘The player has signed a four-year contract effective from the 2025-2026 season. The agreement includes a net guaranteed salary of €15,000,000 per season, a net loyalty bonus of €1,000,000, and an image rights fee of €5,000,000.’
