The second quarter was tighter as Cameroon held Nigeria 20-20, which reuced the D’Tigress’ advantage to 11 points.
However, the D’Tigress looked rejuvenated after the break, limiting Cameroon to just two points in the third quarter while netting 25 points.
The game was already over by the final quarter, which ended 17-16 with Serah Ogoke’s three pointer at the buzz eliciting cheers from the fans.
